Blakeley Keller-Hollow

Hero of Strangerville

Daughter of Frankie Hollow and Linda Keller ; half-brother + guardian to Lee Keller ; mother of Ixie Goth-Hollow ; cousin of Rayne Goth ; former partner to Papa Legba ; girlfriend to Terra Greenfield

Blakeley was born to the youngest daughter of legacy founders Aimee Keaton and Angel Hollow, Frankie. Frankie, a sweet but rebellious girl, had run off with her high school sweetheart, the lazy and manipulative Linda Keller. Linda talked Frankie it moving out of her family's vibrant multi-generational home, and into a drug-house on the outskirts of Willow Creek. Linda and Frankie both performed sex work out of their home (at Linda's behest) and the relationship was physically abusive. Blakeley lived in this environment through her toddlerhood, until finally Linda's abuse led to Frankie dying tragically young.

After Frankie's death, Linda lost custody of Blakeley, and she was sent to live with her closest living relative, Rayne Goth. She moved into his San Myshuno apartment and changed her last name to Keller-Goth. Although Rayne was much more loving than her birth mothers had been, he was not ready for fatherhood, and he continued to expose Blakeley to drug use and other inappropriate behavior. She grew into a teen with a drug habit of her own, spurred on by her across-the-hall neighbor/best friend/resident delinquent Terra Greenfield. As Rayne saw both his drug use and Blakeley's escalate over time, he begins to realize that the city is no place to raise a family.

Near the end of Blakeley's teen years, she was met with a surprise that would change the lives of her entire family. Her birth mother Linda, now an elder, shows up at their apartment, somehow pregnant. She begs her estranged daughter for help, and Blakeley cannot bear to turn her mother away. Rayne agrees to move the family out of the city to a spacious family home in Brindleton Bay. As part of the conditions of the move, Rayne takes custody of his daughter Sinn, and she moves into the home along with Blakeley, Linda, and Linda's newborn son Lee.

Blakeley begins taking classes at University while helping Rayne to care for Linda's baby. Blakely and Sinn soon become inseparable. Sinn brings out the best in her, but being around her ailing and abusive mother brings out the worst. Unsurprisingly, she cracks under the pressure of college, her mother, and the baby, and she has a major drug relapse. After a bout in rehab, Blakeley returns home to find Linda at the end of her life.

Linda passes away from old age, leaving Blakeley with custody of little Lee. At this point, the drugs and the trauma are too much for poor Blakeley, and she hits a breaking point. In a bout of desperate passion, she romances the Grim Reaper when arrives to reap her mother's soul. Not only does she fall in love with the Reaper immediately, but she becomes pregnant from this encounter. In her drug-fueled paranoia, she fixates on all things paranormal as she tries to understand what kind of baby is growing inside her.

As Blakeley struggles to cope with a world that's rapidly breaking down around her, she relies on Sinn, who takes this all in without complaint. But suddenly, without warning, Sinn died of starvation just after reaching young adulthood. She had put on a cheery face to be strong for Blakeley, but all of this had taken its toll on her, and Sinn had been hiding an eating disorder from her family. This was the final straw for Blakeley. She’s been running from her problems and leaning on everyone else for support, but now she wants to take charge of her life. What's more, she can't bear to continue living in the home she shared with Sinn. So she packed up everything from the room they shared together and she moved out to Strangerville.

Blakeley gives birth to the Reaper's child, Ixie, in Strangerville. She manages to stay sober and take good care of her boys, but she can't shake the paranoia she's developed. She befriends members of the local military, as well as a friendly conspiracy theorist who sells her a strange piece of fruit. She is desperate to solve the mystery that's plaguing Strangerville, but she can't seem to think straight. She suffers from sleepwalking and bouts of psychosis, and soon it's undeniable...she's been possessed.

Unfortunately, Blakeley died before she was able to solve the mystery of Strangerville. She succumbed to the mental health issues which had been exacerbated by the possession, leaving behind her two boys. She enjoyed a peaceful slumber in the Netherworld, reunited with her beloved Sinn and finally able to think straight. She stayed that way for who knows how long, until she was pulled from her rest by her own son.

Ixie, now a teen, had grown into a powerful vampire and spellcaster, raised under the guidance of his birth father. Using the name Papa Legba, the Grim Reaper had taken Blakeley's son to raise his own powerful legacy built on dark magick. Ixie and Lee desperately wanted to overthrow their oppressive father, and they needed Blakeley's help to do it.

Fine, she agreed. But on one condition. After defeating Papa Legba once and for all, Lee and Ixie returned with Blakeley to Strangerville, and they helped her defeat the Mother Plant. She had to live, die, and go through Hell to do it, but Blakeley was finally the Hero of Strangerville.

As their adventures drew to an end, Blakeley moved into the palace to be with Ixie and Lee once again as a family. As soon as he was powerful enough to do so, Ixie gifted her with full humanity, fully releasing her from the Netherworld. Blakeley was happy with her new chance at life, finally able to raise her boys with the humanity and compassion they deserved. She was happy in the palace with her family, and she used her new life to rebuild the relationships she had lost when she was blinded by paranoia.

Blakeley reconnected with her old guardian Rayne and his partner Cecilia. Together with Cecilia, Blakeley founded Remembering Rayne Goth, a club dedicated to uplifting the memory of what their family had been before it was destroyed by dark magic. In her late adulthood, Blakeley even reconnected with her old friend from high school, Terra Greenfield, and the two of them fell in love.

Blakeley spent the last few years of her life learning to paint and enjoying her time with her family. She called Terra the great love of her life, the one worth waiting for. As was her wish, Blakeley passed away immediately upon reaching elderhood. She was drank to death by her own son Ixie, so that she could go out on her own terms, while nurturing her child.

Her former bedroom in the palace has been turned into a memorial space, holding her urn as well as many of her paintings and belongings.
